Skin cells, bacteria, fungi, microorganisms, dust mites, and airborne particles commonly end up in carpets and fabrics(*1). Regular maintenance is particularly important for those with asthma or allergies. Furnishings such as mattresses, lounges, office chairs, and curtains can also trigger asthma and allergies(*1). Calling in a professional carpet and upholstery cleaner using industrial equipment with high-efficiency filtration is important to ensure surfaces are properly deep-cleaned.
We offer tailored cleaning solutions to meet your unique requirements beyond carpet and upholstery. Whether you’re facing oversized curtains that won’t fit in the washing machine, tired and dusty roller blinds, bathroom mould, stained grout, or need mattress cleaning and sanitisation, we are here to help refresh every corner of your home with ease.
It is easy to overlook lounges, day beds, chaises, ottomans, vintage upholstered chairs as well as curtains and roller blinds. We are equipped to clean a huge range of household furnishings and surfaces. We even do car and caravan upholstery!
Different types of fibres need to be cleaned carefully to ensure the fabrics are not damaged during the cleaning process. We take great care to ensure your home receives a thorough clean while taking care of your most prized possessions.
We clean and restore ceramic, porcelain, stone or marble tiles, grout and other hard surfaces – getting them sparkling like new again. Water staining, calcium build-up, grout deterioration, mould and mildew are no strangers to wet areas like bathrooms and laundries. To extend the lifespan of your hard surfaces, we recommend our sealing service. This adds an extra layer of protection to the surface and helps it to resist absorbing dirt, dust and grime.
Hard surfaces such as wood, linoleum and vinyl are prone to scratches and scuffs. To protect your floors, talk to us about our sealing service. Need scratches and scuffs fixed? No problem. We can repair and seal your floors to get them restored and protected, saving you a small fortune and headaches trying to find the same lino replacements. We’ll get your floors fixed up in no time.
Skin cells and sweat build up in our mattresses over time. Sleep in peace knowing your mattress has undergone a deep clean and sanitisation.
Leather goods are not only expensive but can be tricky to clean if you don’t have the right products and know-how. Leave the care and restoration of your leather goods to us. We’ll add hydration to worn-out leather, gently remove stains and breathe life back into your favourite leather furniture.
Talk to us about a tailor-made package for your exact needs, and we’ll get to work on restoring your home to its original splendour and charm.
200,000 bacteria per square inch. That’s the estimated number of bacteria in our carpet, according to immunologist and microbiologist, Dr. Philip Tierno(*2). For comparison, toilet seats have an estimated 50 bacteria per square inch (4,000 times less than carpet). This is mainly due to people being more vigilant about toilet cleaning.
The great thing about carpet is it catches many impurities in the air and traps them within its fibres – thus improving indoor air quality(*3). The key to ensuring these particles don’t re-enter the air is to ensure carpets are vacuumed regularly and professionals give carpets a deep clean to the base of the pile with high-powered equipment(*3).
Do you have a question about professional carpet cleaning? Find answers to the most common questions below.
The Carpet Institute of Australia recommends professional deep cleaning of carpets every 12 to 18 months(*4). Exceptions include properties with:
Carpet is highly porous. Smoke, ash, pet hair, dander, faece residue, spills and sticky fingers from small children call for more regular deep cleaning. If you’re unsure, have a chat with us.
Carpet Warranties: If you have installed new carpets, check with the manufacturer regarding your warranty. To maintain a warranty, many manufacturers require professional cleaning every 12 months. They may also specify wet or dry cleaning. If you aren’t sure what kind of cleaning is best for your type of carpet, our expert technicians can advise you on the best treatment type.
Clean carpets improve comfort, and air quality while reducing allergens and bacteria. For homes with hay fever or asthma sufferers, small children or elderly family members, you may opt for deep cleans twice per year, i.e. to combat winter germs from autumn and winter and clear pollens and dirt from spring and summer.
Our cleaning experts will work with you to find the right combination of cleaning services so you can spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying a healthier, more comfortable and productive home.
Just as you would clear toys, shoes and other loose items before vacuuming, we ask that you do the same for our technicians. This ensures they can spend as much time as possible working on your carpets.
Our technicians are pretty fabulous however they are not furniture movers. If you’d like carpeted rooms with large furniture to be cleaned from wall to wall, please be sure to have the furniture moved before our technician’s arrival.
Upholstered fabrics are as important to clean as carpets because they also capture airborne particles, skin cells, pet hair, dander, faeces and food and drink spills. Our customers often get their lounge chairs and mattresses steam cleaned, sanitised, and deodorised on the same day as their 112-month carpet clean. They then book us for other upholstered items that are low use every 18 to 24 months.
Bundling services together reduces the overall costs for our customers as fewer call-outs are required. You can bundle other cleaning services such as oven and grill deep cleans or tile and grout restoration with your carpet clean. Talk to us about tailoring a service package to suit your needs online or by phoning 0414 076 956.
Drying times differ depending on the type of fibre, carpet pile, indoor/outdoor temperatures and humidity levels. Steamed carpets usually dry within four to eight hours. It is safe to walk on carpets straight after steam cleaning however we recommend leaving carpets to dry completely to prevent dirt from shoes sticking to damp fibres. Need a faster drying time? We also offer dry carpet cleaning.
As specialists in carpet stain removal, our technicians possess the expertise, experience, and right products to address all types of stains. However, there are instances where permanent discolouration cannot be completely removed. This can be addressed during our inspection of the stained area.
If carpets and upholstery are not cleaned properly, they can become dirty and odourous more rapidly. This can happen when:
In both cases, oils and cleaning solutions act as magnets for dust and dirt. Some cleaning solutions also increase the potency of odours if they’re not of good quality or lack the correct PH balance(*5).
We only use quality equipment and products to ensure our customers keep coming back to us for their home and office cleaning year after year.
Using your vacuum with a wash function between professional cleans is up to you, however, it should never replace a professional clean(*6) for the above reasons.
Each method (steam, dry or shampoo) has pros and cons. Our professional team will know which method (or combination of methods) will be best suited for each particular job. Industry leaders, The Mohawk Group unequivocally say steam or hot water extraction is the stand out(*7) and The Carpet Institute recommends it for both interim and deep-cleans(*8).
For heavily stained surfaces, cleaning solutions are essential, whether they are used in the pre-treatment, deep-clean, or both. If you want a completely chemical-free clean, then steam is the best option. If cleaning solutions are needed, we use eco-friendly chemicals that are highly effective on dirt and grime and have a low impact on air quality and allergies.
Prices are quoted per job, not by the hour. Work is completed to our high standards, not by price.
Every home and workplace varies in size, foot traffic and cleaning needs. Our standard pricing is available on our website. We are more than happy to provide you with a personalised obligation-free quote.
Whether you have a bustling family home, a high-rise office or something in between, our skilled technicians are always willing to provide the best price without sacrificing quality.
